Job summary

Visual Sound Inc. in Broomall, PA is seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Rep to support Account Managers, grow VSI's client base, and promote AV services.

This onsite role focuses on prospecting, bids, renewals, and servicing existing accounts while building strong relationships with decision-makers. The ideal candidate has experience in audio-visual technology, inside sales and business development, and customer service, with outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in B2B sales, customer service, outbound prospecting, and cold calling.
• Assisting our account management team within our Command and Control department.
• Strong understanding of AV technologies preferred.
• Maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
• Hungry to sell and close - comfortable engaging with decision-makers.
• Excellent oral, written communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge dealing with contract renewals.
• Ability to upsell and cross-sell products/services based on a customer's needs.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Generating new business revenue for AV services by solicitating and obtaining orders.
• Developing sales opportunities by investigating and identifying potential leads.
• Building strong rapport, preparing quotes & proposals, researching competition and industry trends.
• Conducting cold calls, email outreach, and follow-ups to decision-makers.
• Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline focused on recurring revenue.
• Answering email and phone inquiries, entering customer information, and filling orders.
• Meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
• Collaborating with our technical, service, and sales departments.
• Maintaining accurate records in our CRM systems, tracking activities, and forecasting.
