Axiom Technologies in Morton, Illinois seeks experienced AV Support Engineers – L2 Field Support for onsite, on-demand assignments. This independent contractor (1099) role covers meeting rooms, AV equipment, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and related peripherals at client sites.

You will diagnose complex AV issues, install and configure meeting rooms, perform IMACD activities, coordinate with remote teams and vendors, and document actions in tickets.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting AV systems in meeting rooms and field environments.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of AV equipment, teams meetings, and peripherals.
• Ability to work onsite and coordinate with remote teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Onsite Troubleshooting: diagnose AV issues and collect logs for remote analysis.
• New Meeting Room Setup & Build: install and configure MTR, cameras, DSPs, displays; test.
• IMACD Activities: relocate, install, replace, and decommission equipment as needed.
• Advanced Configuration Support: assist with Teams Admin Center configurations and DSP setup.
• Network & AV Issue Isolation: perform port-level and VLAN checks; coordinate with network teams.
• UAT & Meeting Room Certification: test room functionality and assist with go-live readiness.
• Documentation & Reporting: document findings, capture evidence, and update tickets.
