Job summary

TGW Logistics is seeking a Resident Automation Technician to support a customer site in Cowpens, SC. The role requires hands-on repair, troubleshooting, and a broad electrical/mechanical skillset to improve site performance and meet KPIs.

This is an onsite position at the customer location, with a 5:00p – 5:00a Friday to Sunday shift. Responsibilities include resolving equipment issues quickly, completing work orders, performing maintenance on conveyors, cranes, shuttles and related automation

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree or Technical Certificate preferred.
Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in industrial/warehousing environments preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Resolve customer equipment issues quickly and practically.
Complete work assignments and related work orders.
Maintain automated equipment onsite (conveyors, cranes, shuttles, scale checks, carton-opening systems).
Adhere to high quality standards and safety regulations.
Improve automation efficiency to meet KPIs and interface with the customer as needed.
Monitor and maintain site spare parts inventory.
