Job summary

TGW Logistics is seeking a Resident Automation Technician to support our customer site in McDonough, GA. The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of conveyors and shuttle systems, with an emphasis on safety and KPI delivery.

You will work onsite Thursday to Saturday, 6:30am to 7:30pm, coordinating with the client and internal teams to maintain equipment performance and reliability.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree/tech cert preferred.
Experience in electrical or mechanical troubleshooting and repair of conveyors, AS/RS, shuttle systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

Resolve customer equipment issues quickly and practically.
Complete work orders and assignments as issued.
Perform maintenance on automated onsite equipment (conveyors, cranes, shuttles, scale checks, carton-opening systems).
Adhere to high quality standards and safety regulations.
Optimize automation efficiency to meet KPIs and interface with the customer as needed.
Monitor and maintain site spare parts inventory.
