Job summary

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Holland, MI to lead complex automation projects from initiation through delivery onsite. The role requires 2+ years in project management and a Bachelor's in a related field, with experience in Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of progressive experience in project management and automation.
• PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of projects from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed work breakdown structures, resource allocation, risk management strategies, and communication plans.
• Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Oversee project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and escalating as necessary.
• Communicate project status, progress, and challenges regularly to stakeholders, including executive leadership, clients, and team members.
• Ensure adherence to JR's project management methodologies, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Negotiate with vendors and manage external relationships as required for project success.
• Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices
