Job summary

Concentra Inc. is hiring an Athletic Trainer for an onsite, full-time role at our client site in Modesto, CA. The AT-O will promote health, manage injuries, and support workers’ compensation coordination within an occupational medicine program.

Responsibilities include emergency response, RTW planning, ergonomic assessment, and collaboration with HR to ensure safe, timely return-to-work outcomes while maintaining patient care quality and program compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for injuries and illnesses.
• Identify, evaluate and refer injured associates to clinicians.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies per standing orders.
• Assist in managing Workers' Compensation cases.
• Collaborate with HR on return to work (RTW) placement.
• Create pre-shift preventative activity programs and monitor compliance.
• Implement rehab plans including therapeutic exercise and work conditioning as needed.
