Job summary

Concentra is hiring an experienced Athletic Trainer-Onsite (AT-O) for a full-time onsite role at a client site in Charlotte, NC. The AT-O will promote health, manage work-related injuries, and coordinate return-to-work efforts with the client’s Health and Safety Leader.

Required is a Bachelor’s Degree with First Aid/CPR/BLS; experience in occupational medicine, worker’s comp, and ergonomic assessment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited college or university.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• Onsite athletic trainer certification and licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and injury assessment following standing orders and evaluate range of motion and strength.
• Refer injured coworkers to clinicians for appropriate care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies and support workers’ compensation processes.
• Collaborate with HR and management on return-to-work plans and job placement.
• Generate routine rehab utilization, cost and statistics reports as required.
