Job summary

Concentra is seeking a PRN Athletic Trainer to support an on-site occupational medicine program in Tracy, CA. The AT-O will promote health, safety, and injury prevention while coordinating care for work-related injuries.

The role requires first aid/CPR/BLS credentials, at least 1 year of related experience, and the ability to work with HR on RTW planning. Ergonomic assessments and injury prevention are key components of this position.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable.
• Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments.
• Ability to manage and coordinate workers’ compensation and RTW processes.
• HIPAA/PHI confidentiality in handling patient data.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for injuries as specified in standing orders and evaluate status.
• Identify, evaluate and refer injured associates to appropriate clinicians.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies following protocol.
• Assist in managing Workers' Compensation cases and claim follow-up.
• Coordinate return-to-work job placement with HR and management.
• Conduct ergonomic job analyses and injury prevention programs.
