Job summary

Concentra is seeking an Athletic Trainer-Onsite to promote and maintain health for an occupational medicine program. The AT-O will coordinate workers’ compensation cases, manage injuries, provide health promotion, and support return-to-work placements for an onsite client.

Collaboration with the Health and Safety Leader is essential. Responsibilities include providing first aid, evaluating injuries, emergency response, ergonomics, and reporting rehab utilization and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from an accredited college or university.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of athletic trainer experience in onsite/workers' compensation settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid for injuries and illnesses per standing orders.
• Identify and refer injured associates to clinicians for best care.
• Assist in managing Workers' Compensation cases and claim follow-ups.
• Collaborate with HR on return to work placement.
• Coordinate injury prevention programs and ergonomic training.
• Perform ergonomic job analyses and support workplace changes.
• Create pre-shift prevention activities and monitor compliance.
• Maintain patient care records and prepare monthly/annual reports.
