Job summary

Concentra is seeking an Athletic Trainer - Onsite for a full-time role at the client site in Modesto, CA. The AT-O will promote health, manage workers’ compensation, and deliver injury prevention and return-to-work services in an onsite occupational medicine program.

Requires at least 1 year of athletic training experience, degree from an accredited college, and current First Aid/CPR. The position includes direct patient care, collaboration with HR, and reporting on rehab utilization and costs,

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable.
• Continuing education is required to maintain license and to perform job.
• 1 year of athletic trainer experience in an onsite setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid and assess musculoskeletal injuries per standing orders.
• Refer injured associates to clinicians for optimal care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies per protocol.
• Assist in Workers' Compensation case management and return-to-work plans.
• Collaborate with HR and management on RTW job placement.
• Track MSD-related statistics and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Conduct pre-employment functional testing and ergonomic assessments.
• Create and monitor ergonomic and preventive programs for the client site.
• Maintain patient care records and prepare monthly rehab utilization reports.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI, and safety regulations.
