Job summary

Concentra is seeking an experienced Industrial Athletic Trainer to join onsite in a PRN role, focusing on employee health, wellness, and safety. The AT-O will support workers’ compensation, injury prevention, and return-to-work activities on an occupational medicine program.

Responsibilities include treatment of injuries, case coordination with the client, and collaboration with HR on RTW plans, while promoting workplace health and fiscal efficiency through reporting and prevention initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable.
• Yes, at least 1 year of relevant experience; knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for injuries and illnesses and assess ROM, strength, reflexes, and function.
• Identify and refer injured associates to clinicians for optimal care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies per standing orders.
• Assist in managing Workers' Compensation cases and return-to-work coordination.
• Collaborate with HR and management on RTW job placement and ergonomic training.
• Coordinate injury prevention programs and ergonomic assessments for the site.
• Perform job analyses, risk factor identification, and recommend workplace changes.
• Develop and implement rehabilitation plans including therapeutic exercise and conditioning.
