Job summary

Concentra is now hiring an experienced Athletic Trainer-Onsite (AT-O) for a full-time onsite position at our Charlotte, NC client site. The AT-O will promote health, manage workplace injuries, coordinate workers’ compensation, and support return-to-work programs with a focus on exceptional patient care.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, First Aid/CPR at minimum, and knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments.

Qualifications

• Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent
• Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable
• Continuing education is required to maintain license and to perform job
• Customarily has at least the following experience: 1 year
• Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses per standing orders.
• Identify and refer injured associates to appropriate clinicians for optimal care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies per standing orders.
• Assist in managing Workers' Compensation cases through claim capture and follow-up.
• Collaborate with HR on return-to-work (RTW) job placement.
• Coordinate injury prevention programs and ergonomic training and evaluation.
• Perform ergonomic job analyses and risk factor assessments and support workplace changes.
