Job summary

Concentra seeks an experienced Athletic Trainer-Onsite (PRN) to provide on-site medical support at a client site in Methuen, MA. The AT-O will deliver high-quality care, coordinate workers’ compensation activities, and support return-to-work programs with the client’s Health and Safety Leader.

Qualifications

• 1 year of athletic trainer experience in onsite settings.
• Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments.
• Must have degree from accredited college and current first aid/CPR credentials.
• Continuing education is not required to maintain licensure, per listing, but varies by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for injuries and illnesses as directed by standing orders.
• Identify and refer injured employees to appropriate clinicians for care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies per standing orders.
• Assist in managing Workers' Compensation cases and claim follow-up.
• Collaborate with client HR on return-to-work placement and job modification.
• Coordinate injury prevention programs and ergonomic training/evaluations.
• Create job rotation plans and assess job demands when needed.
• Maintain patient care records and write reports; prepare monthly cost/utilization data.
