Job summary

Concentra is seeking an Athletic Trainer onsite to promote health and wellbeing for a client-based occupational medicine program. The role emphasizes injury prevention, case coordination for workers’ comp, and expert patient care to reduce work-related injuries.

The AT-O will work with the client’s Health and Safety Leader to create a healthier workforce, manage RTW placements, and deliver emergency response services while maintaining detailed records and compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of athletic trainer experience in an onsite/occupational setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for injuries per standing orders.
• Coordinate Workers' Compensation case management and RTW planning.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies per protocol and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with HR and management on return-to-work processes.
• Develop and oversee injury prevention programs and ergonomic training.
• Prepare and analyze rehab and cost related reports.
