Job summary

Concentra is seeking an Onsite Athletic Trainer to support an occupational medicine program, promoting health and reducing work-related injuries. You will provide on-site care, perform functional testing, and coordinate with client Health and Safety leaders to support a healthier workforce.

The role emphasizes injury prevention, worker rehabilitation, and timely documentation, with state licensure and BOC certification required. This position is onsite at a client site in the Pittsburgh area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from an accredited program.
• Current NATA BOC Athletic Trainer certification.
• Active state license to practice where applicable.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; basic life support experience.
• Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid and evaluate injuries as prescribed.
• Coordinate Workers' Compensation and return-to-work processes.
• Deliver on-site health promotion and injury prevention programs.
• Collaborate with HR and safety leadership on workforce health.
• Maintain documentation and reporting for rehab utilization and outcomes.
