Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for a Syracuse, UT property. You will oversee daily operations, manage rent collection, and support the Community Manager in all financial and administrative tasks to maximize cash flow and occupancy.

The role requires on-site leadership, solid knowledge of housing laws, and the ability to supervise staff while ensuring policy compliance and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing industry.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately for applicants and residents.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt and send late notices; assist with evictions.
• Assist the property in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident and non-resident accounts; bill back utilities.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit resident files.
• Inspect units and post move-out charges and security deposits.
