Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage general maintenance and interior/exterior cleanliness of the property. Responsibilities include custodial duties, grounds work, make-ready preparations, and basic pool and safety tasks, with on-call responsiveness.

The role emphasizes safe operation of equipment and adherence to OSHA/safety guidelines, with a flexible schedule including weekdays, nights, and weekends as needed. Onsite work at the apartment community is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or related field.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, drywall, basic carpentry, and make-ready.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular custodial duties around the property and maintain common areas (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal).
• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance/Community Manager (trash pickup, power washing, debris removal, etc.).
• Thoroughly clean breezeways, remove cobwebs, and wipe doors/handrails.
• Operate equipment safely: power washer, backpack blower, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaner, sweepers, golf carts.
