Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a COMSEC professional for an onsite role in Cedar Rapids, IA. The candidate will support the COMSEC Manager and Facility Security Officer to maintain accountability and secure handling of COMSEC/classified materials, with required DoD Top Secret clearance.

This position emphasizes strict confidentiality, inventory control, and adherence to NISPOM/NSA directives in a sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct COMSEC experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability, control, and destruction of COMSEC and classified materials in compliance with NISPOM and NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16.
• Order, receive, and transfer cryptographic keys.
• Assist in the shipment, receipt, and accountability of COMSEC materials.
• Manage fill devices and other COMSEC equipment, perform software upgrades to ECUs and secure telephone equipment.
• Conduct semi-annual and annual inventories of COMSEC and classified materials.
