Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Affordable Housing Assistant Community Manager in Phoenix, AZ to oversee the day-to-day operations and financial functions of an affordable housing community. The role requires on-site leadership, supervision of staff, and adherence to fair housing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, etc.).
• Affordable Housing Accreditation (HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) or similar designations preferred but not required.
• Responsible for posting all payments and income from applicants and residents; reconcile daily accounts.
• End-of-month closing procedures and reporting are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager.
• Supervise on-site staff to ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Strategic leasing management and marketing implementation as per the annual plan.
• Ensure accurate records, audits of resident files, and timely move-out processing.
