Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee the on-site operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and financial administration to ensure policy compliance and resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and leasing strategies, with preference for experience in affordable housing programs and CAM/ARM credentials. Regular on-site attendance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, financial administration & risk management.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets and monitor deposits, rent collections and vendor invoices.
• Promote resident retention and implement effective leasing strategies.
• Lead emergency response for the property and ensure timely service request turnaround.
• Maintain property appearance and coordinate make-ready and work orders.
