Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee all on-site operations for a housing community under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, finance and risk management while ensuring compliance with policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.

Key duties include budgeting, marketing plans, rent collection oversight, vendor management, and resident relations to achieve high tenant satisfaction and NOI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire operations of a housing community on-site under Regional Manager supervision.
• Supervise all aspects of property and staff to ensure compliance with policies, safety, fair housing, and liability guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and marketing plans; monitor rent collections and vendor invoices.
• Plan and implement resident retention programs and handle resident complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction.

Education
