Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee on-site operations and financial functions under the Community Manager's supervision. You will support delinquency control, rent collections, and cash flow while managing leasing, maintenance, and admin tasks.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of affordable housing experience, knowledge of LIHTC/HUD programs, and familiarity with on-site software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or related experience.
• 1–2 years in housing Industry or related experience.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt, send late notices, contact residents/guarantors, file evictions.
• Help property meet budgeted revenues/expenses/NOI.
• Post charges to accounts and bill-back utilities when applicable.
• Complete end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit resident files.
• Walk units; post move-out charges and refunds.
