Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for an affordable housing community in Kennewick, WA. You will assist the Community Manager with daily operations, leasing, and financial functions to optimize cash flow and ensure compliance with policy and fair housing guidelines.

On-site leadership includes supervising staff, posting payments, reconciling receivables, and coordinating move-ins/outs. A background in LIHTC/HUD programs is a plus, with strong customer service and basic

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, etc.).
• Affordable Housing Accreditation preferred but not required.
• Ability to post payments and income accurately and timely.
• Ability to process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure compliance with policies and fair housing.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized resident files and conduct unit inspections.
