Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and integrate advanced test systems for aerospace applications. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, developing interfaces, cabling, schematics, and detailed circuit designs while ensuring alignment with cost and schedule goals.

The role requires a STEM degree and hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers, plus programming in Python/C++/MATLAB for simulation and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) prior to start.
• Knowledge of electrical components including resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
• Experience with circuit design and analysis for analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB for simulation and automation.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities in a dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines.
• Experience in technical writing and delivering formal presentations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate test products for complex systems within a multidisciplinary team.
• Create test interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and detailed circuit designs.
• Develop engineering and production test systems that align with cost and schedule goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during the development and implementation phases.
• Utilize modern equipment including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters for validation.
• Collaborate independently or as part of a team to uncover and resolve test product challenges.
