Job summary

RTX's Test Solutions Engineering team within the Hardware Discipline Center in Andover is seeking a hands-on Electrical Test Engineer. You will design, build, and integrate state-of-the-art test systems for defense products across development, production, and sustainment.

Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers to ensure performance, reliability, and DoD standards. A STEM degree and lab experience are required with opportunities in a cutting-edge aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required by start date.
• Experience selecting, calculating values for, and integrating passive and active electronic components in analog/digital designs.
• Experience operating laboratory test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers) to test hardware and measure signals.
• Experience may be obtained through on–the–job experience, coursework, labs or projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate electrical test products, adapters, cabling, and fixtures for complex defense systems.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and engineering docs per standards.
• Validate hardware performance using lab equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware integration issues across development and production.
• Support project execution by ensuring test system designs meet performance, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers to deliver integrated test architectures.
