Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking skilled technicians for onsite 2nd shift in Windsor Locks, CT. You will perform overhaul, disassembly, rework, and inspection of aircraft equipment, following manuals and blueprints while ensuring traceable documentation.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent. You’ll work a 3:30 pm–Midnight shift with training on first shift for ~3 months, and benefit from a comprehensive package including health, retirement, and

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform overhaul, rework, repair and related operations on aircraft equipment and components.
• Disassemble, rework, repair, inspect, assemble and finalize processes per manuals and blueprints.
• Ensure documentation, procedures, forms and tools are quality compliant and traceable.
• Conduct visual and dimensional checks and document findings.
• Prepare and maintain records such as check lists, logs and unit histories.
• Order parts using automated parts inventory systems and manage related requisitions.
• Utilize measuring equipment (surface plate, dial indicators, height gauges, micrometers) for checks.
• Prepare units for preservation and ensure cleanliness of parts and environments.
• Support shifting operations and ensure on-time delivery of units and materials.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and organize work areas.
• Adhere to safety policies and FAA guidelines; participate in shift training.
