Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Survey and Repair technician II for the Opa Locka, Florida facility. The role involves overhaul, rework, and repair operations on aircraft components to maintain workflow.

The position is 100% onsite with a second shift (2:45pm–11:15pm) and overtime as needed. Training will be provided, and the candidate should be able to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install bushings, bearings, sleeves, and metal shims per overhaul manual using machinery and hydraulic presses.
• Utilize close tolerance measuring instruments to assure compliance with CMM specifications.
• Operate honing machinery and devices, including milling for swaging of bearings.
• Perform final inspection and stocking of bushings.
