Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a 2nd Shift Senior Operations Supervisor in Windsor Locks, CT to lead ~30 unionized staff in aftermarket repair operations. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while developing a highly engaged team.

The role requires a university degree (or advanced degree) with 3–5+ years in a supervisory environment, plus lean experience and SAP proficiency. Competitive benefits and on-site scheduling apply.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
• Ability to work 2nd shift: 3:30PM–12AM, Monday–Friday.
• Experience in production, operations, manufacturing, repair, or related environment in a supervisory role.
• Experience in aerospace MRO, component repair, overhaul, or aftermarket operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of union employees with accountability for safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee second shift operations, ensuring safe, efficient work according to procedures.
• Plan daily staffing, workflow, and resources to meet turnaround time and delivery goals.
• Monitor shift performance, address issues impacting safety, quality, delivery, or productivity.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, and Customer Service to resolve issues.
