Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking an Administrative Assistant II to provide comprehensive clerical support within the DOC Community Sentencing division. The role requires handling invoices, records, correspondence, and confidential materials while maintaining accuracy and efficiency on-site.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree plus one year of related experience, plus strong knowledge of office procedures and data processing. This position is on-site with no remote work option.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus one year of technical clerical, administrative, secretarial, or general office work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of spelling, punctuation, and business English; business mathematics; modern office methods and procedures; establishing and maintaining records; and major policies and procedures governing assigned programs.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners, customers, and staff; maintain confidentiality; and handle inquiries at varying levels of complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in projects as team member or team leader.
  • Develops and implements special procedures.
  • Interprets and advises on departmental programs and policies.
  • Oversees administrative tasks such as invoices, payments, requisitions, and bookkeeping.
  • Coordinates activities with internal and external customers.
