Gavnat Public Insurance Adjusters is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to support daily accounting operations, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role reports to the Controller and collaborates with multiple locations as the company expands nationwide.

The position covers Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, and Administrative Support. Onsite work at the Gavnat corporate office with a competitive salary and a 10% annual bonus.

Formación

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Bachelor's degree is desirable.
• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP and accounting software systems preferred.
• Experience with Sage/Intacct and Concur desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Process vendor invoices and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.
• Prepare and process payments by check, ACH, wire transfer, and company credit card.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation.
• Support year-end activities including 1099 preparation.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices.
• Monitor customer accounts and assist with collections activities.
• Apply cash receipts and reconcile customer account balances.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules as assigned.
• Respond to vendor, customer, and employee inquiries regarding accounting transactions.
• Maintain accounting databases and filing systems.
• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
