Job summary

Gavnat Public Insurance Adjusters is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join the finance team. You will support daily accounting operations, maintain records, process transactions, and assist with month-end reporting while ensuring policy compliance.

Reporting to the Controller, you will collaborate across locations and contribute to process improvements. The role is on-site at our corporate office with a salary in the 65k–70k range plus a 10% annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree is desirable but not required.
• 2+ years in accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and obtain approvals.
• Handle payments by check, ACH, wire, and company card.
• Reconcile vendor statements and fix discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain vendor records and documentation.
