Job summary

Stellent IT LLC in Newark, NJ is seeking a Desktop Engineer for the 3rd shift to join a 24x7 on-site support team. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, assist users by phone, email, and remote access, and manage tickets.

The role requires 4-6 years of experience, college degree, and strong knowledge of Windows AD/Exchange, DHCP/DNS, and printer systems; weekend shifts and holidays required; Airwatch MDm a plus.

Qualifications

• College degree and/or 4-6 years' IT experience.
• Experience with Windows Active Directory and Office 365.
• Experience troubleshooting network issues in large office setups.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting printer systems.
• Familiarity with DHCP, DNS, LAN, WAN, and other networking concepts.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with a scripting language preferred.
• Must be able to work on Saturdays and certain Holidays.
• Basic understanding of ITIL foundation processes, i.e. Incident, Request, Change, etc.
• MDM experience, specifically Airwatch, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1 & 2 desktop support onsite on rotating shift.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Utilize ticketing system to manage requests.
• Manage Windows Active Directory and Exchange.
• Collaborate with IT staff on maintenance and projects.
• Maintain asset records and coordinate with vendors.
