Job summary

SpikeIT Global Solutions, Inc. in Newark, NJ is hiring a Desktop Engineer for 2nd shift (Tue–Sat, 4pm–12am) on site. You’ll provide Level 1 & 2 support via phone, email, and remote tools.

The role covers troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and printer issues, with an emphasis on strong customer service and communication skills. On-call availability for Saturdays and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience or a college degree.
• Experience with Windows AD, Office 365, DHCP, DNS, and LAN/WAN.
• Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.
• Must be available Saturdays and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 & 2 support via phone, email, and remote tools.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and printer issues.
• Onsite coverage for Newark, NJ 2nd shift.

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Saturday and holiday availability
