Job summary

Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is seeking an IT support technician for the Waterloo, IA site on the second shift (2:30 pm – 11:00 pm). This is an onsite W2 contract position providing deskside Tier 2 support, imaging computers, and asset management, with adherence to knowledge base articles.

OT may be available and there is a weekend on-call rotation. Some travel between Waterloo area locations is possible; metatarsals are required on the first day as part of safety gear.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computing and networking concepts.
• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of computer security concepts.
• 1 year or more IT experience preferred, but recent graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite deskside Tier 2 support to the Waterloo IA location.
• Imaging computers, replacing printer toner, disposing of outdated assets, and resolving trouble tickets from ServiceNow queues.
• Document, record, and distribute information; update assets and process logs.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, data supporting processes or operations; schedule routine maintenance and inventory.
• Apply basic technical knowledge to support processes and resolve issues using established KB articles.
