Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a detail-oriented Online Order Selector to prepare prepared online orders with speed and accuracy. You will assist customers, identify substitutions, and ensure correct pricing at checkout.

The role requires basic math, cash handling, and strong communication in a fast-paced retail setting. Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends is needed, with attention to safety and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of related experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Minimum age 16; 21 in Louisiana.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification where applicable.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare online customer orders by accurately selecting products and organizing for pickup.
• Identify item out-of-stocks, suggest substitutions and promote specials.
• Ensure accurate checkout totals by weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Remain current on product knowledge and food safety standards.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment; uphold sanitation standards.
• Assist customers with online orders and substitutions.
