Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a detail-oriented online order picker to fulfill customer orders with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include selecting items from shelves, organizing orders for pickup, ensuring correct pricing, weighing and scanning items, and assisting customers with substitutions when items are out of stock. Emphasis on safe handling and friendly service.

Qualifications

• Six or more months of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 16 years of age required; 21 years of age required in Louisiana.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Ability to learn new technology systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepares online orders by selecting quality products from shelves and organizing for pickup.
• Identifies item out-of-stocks and suggests substitutions of similar value.
• Ensures accurate checkout totals by weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Maintains product knowledge and food safety standards to ensure quality and freshness.
