Job summary

Kroger is seeking an In-Store Grocery Picker to assemble online orders for customer pickup at our Springfield store. You will select and gather products with attention to freshness and quality, scan and bag orders, and process coupons and payment at the POS.

Join the e-Commerce team to ensure substitutions are communicated, load orders into customers' cars, and provide a positive shopping experience that reflects Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, and safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition and subtraction).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk selects and gathers products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes selection for online orders.
• Assembles orders, processes coupons and payment, and delivers and loads orders to cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders on the go while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup time.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Load orders into customers' cars and assist with loading as needed.
