Job summary

Kroger is hiring an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk to assemble and fulfill on-line orders with care for freshness and quality. You will assist customers, process payments at the POS, and coordinate substitutions with care while maintaining order accuracy and cleanliness.

This role supports the e-Commerce team in a fast-paced store environment, ensuring timely pickup and a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Any experience as a personal shopper or in a production oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier

Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk selects and gathers products for customers' on-line orders with emphasis on freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for on-line orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders to customers' cars at pick up.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to food safety procedures and company guidelines.
