Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is hiring an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk to select and gather products for customers' online orders in the store, with focus on freshness and quality. You will process coupons and payments and load orders into customers' cars at pickup.

As part of the e-Commerce team, you will communicate substitutions, maintain order accuracy, and uphold food safety standards while delivering friendly, efficient service that inspires customers to return to online shopping.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for customers' online orders with freshness and quality.
• Process coupons and payment, and load orders into customers' cars at pickup.
• Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping.
• Adhere to food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Receive orders from Order Selector and store in optimal temperature zones.
• Follow instructions in notes and ensure order accuracy.
• Assist in maintaining organization and cleanliness of staging areas.
