Job summary

Smith's Food & Drug Centers is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk to efficiently select and gather products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality. You will assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders to customers' cars at pickup.

You will provide a positive customer service experience, handle substitutions, follow bagging standards, and ensure order accuracy while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk selects and gathers products for customers' online orders with freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for online orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders to customers' cars at pickup.
• Read and follow directions in the note section; ensure order accuracy and adhere to bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup time.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Follow policies for substitutions when items are out of stock; maintain staging areas and equipment.
