Job summary

Smith's Food & Drug Centers is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper to assemble online orders with freshness and accuracy for customer pickup. You will select items, process coupons and payment, and load orders into customers' cars at pickup.

You will work with the E-Commerce team to communicate substitutions, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and maintain exceptional customer service throughout the pickup process.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk selects and gathers products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for customer online orders.
• Assemble online orders, process coupons and payment, and load orders into customers' cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Follow food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Receive and organize orders, store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Provide positive customer service to encourage repeat online shopping.
