Job summary

Kroger in Christiansburg, VA is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk to efficiently select and gather products for customers' online orders with a focus on freshness and quality. You will process coupons and payments, and help deliver and load orders to customers' cars at pickup.

As part of the e-commerce team, you will communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup, ensure accurate orders, and maintain a clean, organized staging and pickup area.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk selects and gathers products for customers' online orders efficiently with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for customers' online orders.
• Online Grocery Pick-Up team assembles orders, processes coupons and payments, and delivers and loads orders to cars at pickup.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper scans and bags orders on the go while following all bagging standards.
• E-Commerce team communicates substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
