Job summary

Kroger is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk in Midlothian, VA to assemble online orders with precision and care. You will pick items, scan, bag, and load orders into customers’ cars at pickup, while maintaining freshness and quality and delivering friendly service.

You will coordinate with the e‑Commerce team, handle substitutions, process payments at the POS, and ensure orders meet store standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk works as In-Store Grocery Shopper selecting and gathering products for on-line orders.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for on-line orders.
• Online Grocery Pick-Up team assembles orders, processes coupons and payment, and loads orders to customers' cars at pick up.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper scans and bags orders while following bagging standards.
• E-Commerce team communicates substitutions or exceptions to customers’ orders at pick-up.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines for food safety and handling.
• Read directions in notes and ensure order accuracy and timely pickup.
