Job summary

Kroger in Richmond, VA is seeking an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk. You will select and assemble online orders with attention to freshness and quality, scan and bag items, and prepare orders for customer pickup.

As part of the E‑Commerce team, you will communicate substitutions when needed, maintain order accuracy, and provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. Flexible hours may be available.

Qualifications

• Read shelf tags and perform basic math.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk selects and gathers products for online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes selection process for online orders.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payment, deliver and load orders to customers' cars at pickup.
• Scan and bag orders on the go while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Follow policies to determine substitutions for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
