Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk (Finance)
Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality. Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars during pick-up. Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat online shopping. In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes selection for online orders. The Online Grocery Pick-Up team assembles orders, processes payments, and loads orders into customers' cars. The role involves scanning, bagging, and following all standards, communicating substitutions or issues, and ensuring order accuracy and quality.
The associate must meet customer expectations for ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness, adhere to safety and legal guidelines, and maintain organized, clean staging areas. Communication with customers and team members is essential, along with following policies for substitutions and handling discrepancies. The role may include training new team members, performing opening/closing procedures, and working cooperatively in a fast-paced environment. The associate must handle conflicts professionally, act with integrity, and support customers with special needs, minors, and older adults. Reasonable accommodations should be provided as needed.
