Job summary

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of 30 semester hours college credit.
- Current Educational Aide certification or willingness to obtain the TEA Educational Aide Certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with supervision of students in all instructional settings.
- Assist with behavior management techniques by modeling and reinforcing desired behaviors.
- Maintain data per teacher IEP goals and Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Tailor lessons to meet individual student needs.
- Support lesson planning and reinforce learning concepts.
- Provide one-to-one support for a student with significant needs.
- Assist with administration and scoring of tests and assignments.
- Adapt activities and materials to support classroom objectives.
- Monitor students during transitions and throughout the day.
