Job summary

Vancouver Public Schools at Walnut Grove Elementary in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Paraeducator for Learning Support 1:1. The role is 6.5 hours per day over a 9-month year and involves one-on-one student support under the supervision of certified staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate's degree or 60/60 credits OR ParaPro 461+ required
• One year of related experience preferred
• Experience in an educational setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom activities under supervision of certificated staff
• Support individualized instruction and behavior goals
• Manage student data and progress using IEPs and related tools
• Move and assist students safely as needed
• Communicate with teachers about student progress
