Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based Clinical Account Executive to cover a California geography including Sacramento, Chico, Redding, and surrounding areas. The role requires building partnerships with hematologists and oncologists, translating clinical and business insights into impactful customer engagements, and delivering results with integrity.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales with oncology/hematology experience, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to travel

Qualifications

• 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech.
• Oncology/hematology experience required, preferably in Multiple Myeloma.
• Ability to take on larger roles quickly.
• Competitive selling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Persistency and grit with a track record of success.
• Driving a personal auto or company car; valid driver’s license.
• Regular business travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with brand strategy.
• Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key stakeholders.
• Deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements and insights.
• Partner with cross-functional colleagues to coordinate customer experiences.
• Continuously evaluate territory performance using data and analytics.
• Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all interactions.
• Complete AbbVie required training and adhere to policies.
