US Oncology Network is seeking a Scheduler to join our Odessa team. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm role with no weekends, call, or major holidays. Responsibilities include scheduling patient appointments, handling calls, and coordinating with medical staff in a busy oncology office.

Level can be 1, 2, or Sr based on experience. We offer a stable work environment with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a large oncology network.

Formación

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.

Responsabilidades

• Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Schedule new, referred, and returning patients per physician guidelines.
• Enter insurance authorizations and referrals in EMR.
• Collect co-pays and other payments at visit.
• Maintain front office scheduling templates.
• Arrange financial counseling for patients.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow policies.
• Cover other front office functions as requested.
• Prepare correspondence, memos, and forms as needed.
• May schedule outpatient appointments, testing, surgeries, or hospital admissions and obtain pre-certifications.
• Communicate with patients about surgeries or tests and gather needed information.
