Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Account Director – Oncology Provider to expand the Specialty footprint within community-based oncology practices across the East Coast US. The remote role involves significant travel (up to 50%) and leadership in expanding product lines, technology services, and retained business within a defined geography.

The role reports to the Director, Account Management and requires a proactive leader skilled in executive relationships, strategic selling, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of healthcare sales and complex account management experience.
• Experience with oncology practice business, contracting, demand realization and GPO pull through.
• Excellent planning, forecasting, financial and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated matrix management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Grow market share and profitability through consultative sales strategies and tactics.
• Deliver well designed, compelling sales presentations to executive customers.
• Manage executive relationships with a variety of professionals.
• Develop territory business plans and communicate real-time updates to stakeholders.
• Manage key accounts effectively within the assigned geographic regions.
• Participate in, and lead when asked, sales training programs.
• Mentor junior members of the sales team.
• Utilize Cardinal Health’s CRM to maintain records, track leads and retention strategies.
• Provide competitive intelligence to stakeholders.
